Noise Complaint

Gulf Shores International Airport and the Airport Authority are not responsible for air traffic patterns. Air traffic is determined by the FAA & overlying air traffic control facilities.

The airport owns all land inside of the 65 DNL. The FAA considers 65 DNL to be the threshold for excessive noise. See noise contour maps here.

If you’re experiencing excessive noise from aircraft operations, we want to hear from you. Our Noise Complaint Form allows you to report concerns related to airport noise, helping us monitor and address community feedback. Please provide as much detail as possible, including dates, times, and the nature of the disturbance. Your input is valuable in our ongoing efforts to balance airport operations with community well-being.
